Kudamkuzhy Sree Panchalingeswara Temple

Kundamkuzhi Sree Panchalingeshwara Temple is a famous Shiva temple in Bedadka Grama Panchayat. Sree Velakunnu Siva Temple
Velakkunnu Shiva Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in Bedaduka Grama Panchayat area of ​​Kasaragod district. Lord Shiva is the main deity worshipped here. Surrounded by beautiful hills and greenery, this temple is known as a spiritual center for the locals. The annual festivals and Shivaratri celebrations of the temple are celebrated with great participation of devotees. Sree Adukkath Bhagavathi Temple
 
Sree Akkattu Bhagavathy Temple is an ancient Hindu temple located in Bedadukka Panchayat of Kasaragod district. The main deity here is Goddess Durga, the consort of Mahishasuramardini. The rare Aamakulum and the 'Aamayut' offering for skin healing are the main features of this temple. The main information about the temple is as follows:
Main deity: Mahishasuramardini, holding a conch, a wheel, an arrow and a bow in her four hands, stands on the head of Mahishasura. The sub-deities are Saraswati Devi, Vanasastava, Rakteshwari and Nagas. Turtle Pond and Kurmavatara Sankalpa: It is believed that there are thousands of turtles in the large pond located on the south side of the temple. There is also a sub-deity temple here, which is worshipped in the Kurmavatara Sankalpa of Lord Vishnu.
Amayoottu (Main Offering): This is a ceremony where the Melshanti and devotees offer offerings (padachor) to the turtles in the pond after the daily midday puja. Devotees believe that this is good for curing skin diseases.
Other offerings: Offering a broom to the goddess to cure hair loss and cure hair loss and offering buffalo milk to the goddess are the main rituals here.
Major Festivals: The Navratri festival is celebrated on a grand scale here.
To reach:From Poinachi on the Kasaragod - Kanhangad route, reach Velakkunnu bus stop on the Bandadukka road, and from there, the temple is located 3 km south.

Poliyamthuruth Eco Village
