Bedaduka Gram Panchayat is a Gram Panchayat located in the eastern hilly region of Kasaragod district, notable for its natural beauty, agricultural wealth and linguistic diversity. Located about 20–25 km from Kasaragod city, this area is rich in green and hilly terrain. Agricultural crops like rubber, coconut, ada, pepper and cashew nuts are the main sources of livelihood in the area. Along with Malayalam, Tulu, Kannada and Biyari languages are also widely spoken here. This panchayat, where different religious and social groups coexist harmoniously, is actively working in the areas of rural roads, drinking water, healthcare, educational development etc. Government schemes like Kudumbashree and Haritha Keralam are also being implemented effectively here. Along with the basic facilities like government/aided schools, Anganwadis, health centers, etc., the active participation of the youth in sports and cultural activities is also noteworthy. The beautiful natural scenery, folk festivals and religious celebrations during the monsoon season reflect the cultural unity and tradition of the region.
